The anime version of Demon Slayer was made available by Ufotable in 2019. Since then, Demon Slayer has generated the biggest-grossing anime movie ever and a follow-up season that is even better than the original. A third season covering the “Swordsmith Village” arc will be released, according to Ufotable.

The anime Demon Slayer also has a fantastic cast of characters, but the anime’s artwork frequently steals the show. What are details regarding the Hashira known? What are the characters in Demon Slayers’ ages, birthdays, and heights? What is Tanjiro’s age?
On September 29, 2022, Mark Sammut updated: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Demon Slayer Fans will have to wait a little longer to see the Swordsmith Village Arc in its animated splendour as season 3 has yet to reveal its release date. They can watch the previously released episodes and a movie again in the interim, which should be a rather entertaining experience, given the high calibre of the animation. Demon Slayer has a strong cast of heroes and antagonists. Still, because the anime is primarily recognized for its fast-paced action, the characters sometimes need to catch up in the animation and combat scenes.

Tanjiro Kamado

Tanjiro Kamado is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Japanese manga and anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a young man who sets out on a journey to become a demon slayer after his family was attacked and his younger sister was turned into a demon. Throughout the series, Tanjiro trains and grows stronger in his abilities, facing various challenges and obstacles as he tries to find a cure for his sister and protect others from demons.

Nezuko Kamado

After being attacked by demons and losing most of her family, Nezuko is turned into a demon but retains some of her humanity. She is known for her strong bond with her brother and her protective nature towards him. Throughout the series, she battles with her demon instincts while trying to maintain her humanity and support her brother in his journey to become a demon slayer.

Nezuko plays a significant role in the series, as she serves as both a source of motivation for Tanjiro and a symbol of hope for the possibility of redemption for even demons. Despite being a demon, she is depicted as kind, gentle, and loyal, making her a fan-favorite character. Her relationship with Tanjiro is a central aspect of the series and one of the driving forces behind the story. The bond between the siblings is strong and heartwarming, and their love for each other is a major theme throughout the series.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

He is a member of the Demon Slayer Corps and serves as one of the supporting characters in the series. Zenitsu is known for his cowardice and frequent panic attacks, but also possesses a strong sense of justice and a desire to protect others. Despite his timid nature, he is a skilled warrior who wields lightning-based powers, and he becomes a valuable asset to the Demon Slayer Corps as he trains and grows stronger over the course of the series.

Zenitsu’s character is often used for comic relief, but he also serves as an important part of the cast and has several touching moments that showcase his bravery and determination. He has a complex personality, as he struggles with his fear while striving to become a better person, and his growth and development are integral to the overall story.

Inosuke Hashibira

Inosuke is a rough and aggressive individual who initially comes across as a brash and boastful fighter. He is known for his distinctive boar-like appearance, which is a result of his family’s worship of the Boar God.

Inosuke is a skilled fighter who wields dual swords and relies on brute force and instincts in battle. Despite his rough exterior, he has a strong sense of justice and a desire to protect others, and he eventually joins forces with Tanjiro and the other demon slayers in their quest to eradicate demons. Throughout the series, Inosuke’s character evolves and he begins to open up, revealing a more vulnerable side and a desire to become a better person. His development is a key aspect of the series and adds depth to the cast of characters.

Kanao Tsuyuri

Kanao is known for her quiet and reserved personality, and is often depicted as a composed and stoic figure. She wields a powerful bow and arrow and is a skilled fighter who is capable of executing precise and deadly shots.

Despite her reserved demeanor, Kanao has a strong sense of justice and a desire to protect others, and she joins forces with Tanjiro and the other demon slayers in their quest to eradicate demons. Throughout the series, Kanao’s character develops and she begins to open up, revealing a more vulnerable side and a desire to make meaningful connections with others. Her development is an important aspect of the series, as she becomes an integral part of the cast and adds depth to the story.

Genya Shinazugawa

Genya, another tragic figure, saw his brothers killed by his mother, who he believed to be a demon. He also witnessed his mother’s murder by his surviving brother, Sanemi. Genya is a capable warrior who can absorb demon skills, despite the fact that he cannot use breathing techniques.

At least in the early episodes of the anime, Genya’s fiery personality makes him not the most cooperative Demon Slayer. On the other hand, as the series progresses, Genya becomes friendlier.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

Sanemi is known for his stern and serious personality, as well as his distinctive appearance, which includes tattoos covering his body.

Sanemi is a skilled fighter who wields a large katana and is one of the strongest members of the Demon Slayer Corps. Despite his tough exterior, he has a strong sense of justice and a desire to protect others, and he joins forces with Tanjiro and the other demon slayers in their quest to eradicate demons.

Giyu Tomioka

Giyu is a person who doesn’t waste words, and she thinks that others should do the same. When Giyu was a youngster, his sister sacrificed herself to save him from a demon; unfortunately for the young man, his attempts to tell people what had happened only led to him being shunned.
Even though he isn’t nearly as confident as he seems, Giyu cuts a strong and aloof figure as a very senior member of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Shinobu Kocho

Despite her often sunny disposition, Shinobu harbors a deep hatred towards demons. That resentment is born from the crushing grief that followed when her beloved sister Kanae passed away after being devoured by the monster Muzan Kibutsuji. Shinobu remains determined to avenge her sibling and has devoted herself to serving the cause of the Demon Slayer Corps—even at the cost of personal relationships. Shinobu’s venomous tongue has been known to call down punishments on those who dare oppose her, stirring up fear in even her closest comrades. Despite the anguish she keeps hidden beneath that trademark smile, she’ll never waver in her resolve and will proceed without fail until Muzan is eradicated once and for all.

Tengen Uzui

It’s evident that Tengen’s upbringing was far less than ideal, as he was born into a ninja clan and subjected to his cruel father’s training. Eager for self-fulfillment regardless of the cost to anyone else, he was indeed hoodwinked by his own parent into slaying several of his siblings. Despite this traumatizing start in life, Tengen resolved to take matters into his own hands and break away from the nest – something that certainly contributed to the personality struggles we see in him today. Where once he seemed content with willing selfishness and a lack of remorse, it is good to know that at least some of the person Tengen is today is due to his brave decision to walk away from his past oppressors.

Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri is known for her love-themed powers and her charming and flirtatious personality.

Mitsuri is a skilled fighter who wields a bow and arrow and is known for her powerful Love Breathing style

Fans of the anime are eagerly awaiting to see what amazing battles Love Breathing will bring. This revolutionary technique, one whose capabilities would be hard to define, is sure to offer a marvel of visuals and shall surely wow audiences. After all, the idea of Love Breathing — if it really is possible — presents something that fans have never seen before in the show. With immense curiosity and anticipation, fans are excited to witness how this new breathing style will shift the course of battles and influence its characters.

Obanai Iguro

Even though Obanai Iguro is admired for his remarkable skills and for his post as the Serpent Hashira, he has been shrouded with mystery throughout his journey. His design truly encapsulates this mysteriousness, making one wonder what sort of powers he possesses. The suggestion of Serpent Breathing adds even more to this mystique, leaving fans all over the world eager to see how this character’s story unfolds. Will he be able to save the day and conquer evil in all its forms? Eventually, we will have to wait until the chapter reveals itself.

Muichiro Tokito

Muichiro Tokito’s “closed off” nature at first glance might make it seem like he doesn’t care, but there are strong motivations behind his actions. His grief from a personal tragedy is the driving force for his inner calm and aloofness – Muichiro may sometimes appear apathetic and distant, but his more compassionate side does come out on occasions. Despite this, Muichiro has ultimately chosen to lead a life of solitude rather than get attached to anyone or anything—which only makes the moments where he reacts and shows emotion all the more meaningful.

Gyomei Himejima

As with many of his colleagues in the Demon Slayer Corps, the Stone Hashira’s known for his great strength and loyalty—two traits that offer readers a glimpse as to who he is as a character. While fans have yet to learn much about Gyomei Himejima in the anime, this is all likely to change soon, as Demon Slayer moves into its next arc—the Hashira Training Arc. Here, Gyomei’s importance and presence will most likely become more pronounced. Indeed, those familiar with the manga already understand how much of an integral role he plays throughout Tanjiro’s adventures. A kind-hearted giant with a level head and powerful heart, it will be exciting to see what secrets the series reveals about him in upcoming episodes.

Kyojuro Rengoku

Kyojuro Rengoku is a refreshingly honest and heartfelt character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train. This fiery pillar of hope bursts onto the screen with a genuine energy that makes him instantly likable. Despite being challenged by dark and daunting obstacles, he never loses sight of his purpose or lets negativity impair his judgment. Even when attempts to deceive seem like their only option, Kyojuro stays true to his sincere nature and looks for the good even in very bad situations. His positivity creates a mood of optimism that resonates throughout the movie, enlightening viewers and making them hopeful of a successful outcome despite the odds.

Aoi Kanzaki

Aoi Kanzaki’s role in the Demon Slayer Corps is unique, as she stays away from the frontlines but still makes an immense difference. After losing her family to demons, Aoi found her way to the Demon Slayer Corps but instead of joining up as a fighter she took on a supportive role, becoming a caregiver at the Butterfly Mansion. There, she tended to injured fighters and trained new recruits. While not taking part in battles Aoi has traveled with them on occasions and proved instrumental on multiple occassions when faced with urgent needs for healing; such was the case with Tanjiro and Zenitsu during the Rehabilitation Training Arc. Truly highlighting that everyone has an important role and can make a huge impact in their own way, even if they stay away from actual fighting!

Sabito

Tanjiro’s training with Sakonji hits a bit of a wall, only for an unexpectedly aggressive new teacher to appear in the form of Sabito. Initially skeptical of Tanjiro’s strength, Sabito soon reveals himself to be inadvertently pushing Tanjiro beyond his own limits. Although his time in the anime is brief and concludes with just a few episodes, there is no denying the impact Sabito has on Tanjiro’s growth, revealing a heartbreaking backstory that stands consistent with the series’ incredibly powerful character arcs.

Tamayo

Tamayo is a powerful yet compassionate demon who made her debut during the Asakusa Arc of Demon Slayer. She is an important minor character who deliberately straddles both sides of good and evil, using her powers to offer assistance when it matters most. Serving as a beacon of hope to Tanjiro, Tamayo exemplifies the idea that demons possess untapped potential beyond the influence of Muzan Kibutsuji. Despite her soft-spoken nature, Tamayo commands strong respect due to her firm convictions and can certainly hold her own in battle if presented with challenging circumstances. Although she was not seen for a time after Asakusa town, fans will have cause to rejoice soon as Tamayo returns in the forthcoming Swordsmith Village saga.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki

Kagaya may not make much of an appearance in the anime series, but his role is crucial to Demon Slayer’s world. As head of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kagaya serves as a mentor to its members and his words are always taken into consideration even if he isn’t actually out in the field. Unfortunately, he can only use his wisdom from behind the scenes due to a family curse that limits him physically. However, during moments when judgement or peace is needed, Kagaya makes sure that his voice is heard and helps guide those on the front lines towards making the right decisions.

Muzan Kibutsuji

Muzan might not have been given much screen time in the first season of Demon Slayer, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that he is one of the most fascinating characters in the show. Even though we only rarely witness his cold and calculating persona, it is still quite chilling to see him so easily dispose of some of his most powerful minions. It’s no wonder that so many fans are eager to find out more about this mysterious man.

Muzan’s immense power has left many wondering how Tanjiro and the other Demon Slayers can possibly stand a chance against such an adversary. With the second season coming soon, fans will finally get to find out how these brave protagonists plan to challenge Muzan—and if they’ll be successful in their mission or not!

Rui

From his innocent face to his elegant manner of speaking, Rui presents an outwardly cordial facade, but his true nature is utterly terrifying. Driven by an intense desire to regain a semblance of the family he lost when he was rejected as a demon, he ruthlessly manipulates and kills anyone who gets in his way; showing no mercy whatsoever. His physical strength is matched by extraordinary abilities that allow him to not just empower others demons, but alter their appearances too. Tanjiro’s battles against him made for some gripping combat moments throughout Demon Slayer’s first season, with our protagonist coming close to defeat numerous times before eventually prevailing over the mysterious Lower Rank demon.

Akaza

Akaza, the Upper-Rank Three Demon introduced in Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, certainly made an impression. His fight against Rengoku Kyojuro was a stunning display of power and skill that ended with the Flame Hashira’s death. It is clear that Akaza is a powerful force to be reckoned with and will without doubt remain heavily involved in upcoming events. Unfortunately, while manga fans may already have insight into those events, anime fans can only speculate as to what might happen next untill more episodes arrive.

Daki

Daki is a powerful upper rank six demon and one of the primary antagonists in Demon Slayer’s Entertainment District Arc. She appears to be vicious and cruel, but deep down much of her personality stems from insecurity and a desire to win Muzan’s approval. Her tragic backstory originates from her life as a courtesan where she was burned alive, only to be miraculously “saved” by her brother Gyutaro at the brink of death. Though they often have disagreements, Gyutaro and Daki are incredibly close siblings that have been bonded together for over a hundred years since Daki earned her place among the Demon Forces. Daki is quite tall, easily towering over most characters, though slightly shorter than her brother or Muzan. Despite her stature, however, the amount known about Daki remains mysterious— leaving fans with more questions than answers.

Gyutaro

A testament to his reputation, Gyutaro has an intimidating presence both in terms of his physique and personality. He cuts an imposing figure thanks to both his older age and lack of emotions. His stubble-ridden face also adds some extra menace, making him look ready for confrontation at any moment. What makes Gyutaro truly frightening is that he literally takes pleasure in the pain he deals. He has a penchant for using violence to get what he wants and there are no consequences that can turn him away from it. Everyone from inside the Demon Slayer Corps to even people who aren’t associated with the Corps quickly learn not to mess with Gyutaro. There have been countless battles where he has proven that even someone who seems ordinary on the surface is capable of dealing out unthinkable levels of punishment in battle, cementing his status as a true powerhouse amongst Upper Rank Sixes.

Doma

Doma, the powerful and twisted Upper Rank Two demon of the Twelve Kizuki in Demon Slayer, stands out among them as the master of deception and a paragon of sadistic cruelty. At first glance his appearance is kind, gentle and docile which hides his complete lack of human emotion – everything he does is done only out of necessity or amusement for himself. He views humans as mere drones who must be put down for their own sakes if they cannot remain useful to him. Needless to say Doma makes for an intimidating figure in both thought and action that was exemplified by the riveting conclusion of the Entertainment District Arc in Demon Slayer’s anime series. With such a strong villain on display it’s no wonder fans are eager to see more from this notorious Kizuki member when season two is released.
